The Rev. Fr Michael Elder is rector of the domestic chapel in Diamond Harbour, New Zealand. He is a priest in the Deanery of New Zealand, within the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia, New Zealand, and All Oceania.
Biographical timeline
- 1920s: Michael Elder is born.
- 1990s: Michael Elder is ordained to the diaconate. He assists both Fr Jack Witbrock and Fr Ilyan Eades.
- 2003 Jan: Dcn Michael was ordained to the priesthood during the first New Zealand Clergy Conference. He was made rector of a small chapel in Diamond Harbour.
- 2004: Fr Michael was awarded the epigonation by Met. Abp Paul, making him a Confessor.
