His Eminence Archbishop '''Michael (Shaheen) of Toledo''' was the ruling [[heirarch]] of the Antiochian Archdiocese of Toledo, Ohio from 1962 until 1975. The Toledo [[archdiocese]] was formed during the formation period of the [[Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America]] as it gained its independence from the Russian Orthodox Mission ([[Metropolia]]) during the 1930s. Metr. Michael became the Auxiliary-Archbishop of the unified Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America in 1975.

Fr. Michael Shaheen was [[consecration of a bishop|consecrated]] [[bishop]] of the [[Church of Antioch]] on [[February 11]], 1962 in Damascus, Syria to lead the “Toledo” group.
On [[June 24]], 1975, Metropolitan Michael signed the Articles of Reunification with Metr. [[Philip of New York]], forming a united Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America. With the ratification of the Articles by the [[Holy Synod]] of the Church of Antioch on [[August 19]], 1975, Abp.. Michael was recognized as Auxiliary-Archbishop with Metr. Philip as Metropolitan-Primate.
Abp. Michael reposed on [[October 24]], 1992.
