The '''Metropolis of Arta''' (Gr: Άρτα) is under the jurisdiction of the [[Church of Greece]]. Arta is located in northwestern Greece in the province of Eprius.

The first report of Arta as a see, under the jurisdiction of the Eparchy of Nafpactos and Nikopolis, was in the twelfth century as reported by Emmanuel Komninos in an office list (Taktikon). He lived from 1143 to 1180. The [[bishop]] was reported as Basileios. According to P. Aravantinos, a chronographer of Epirus, Arta was part of the Eparchy of Artis and Naypactou, an exarch of Aitolias, from the thirteenth century to 1820.
