His Grace Meletios (Tripodakis) of Christianoupolis was a bishop of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of North and South America, under the jurisdiction of the Church of Constantinople during the latter half of the twentieth century. stub

Life

Father Meletios was the priest at Annunciation Cathedral in San Francisco from 1955 to 1961. In 1961, he was consecrated with the titular title of Bishop of Christianoupolis and assigned as the bishop of the Third Archdiocese District with his see in Boston, Massachusetts. He remained in Boston until 1962.

In 1968, Bp. Meletios was transferred to the Fourth Archdiocese District in San Francisco, a position he held until 1979. During his episcopate in San Francisco he retained his titular title. Bp. Meletios reposed in 1983 in Millbrae, California.
