His Grace, The Right Reverend Bishop Mark (Maymon) is diocesan bishop of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Diocese of Toledo and the Midwest Born in Indiana in the 1950 and baptized in the Roman Catholic Church, he later became a Pentecostal Christian, attending an Assembly of God church in Louisville, Kentucky. He attended Oral Roberts University (ORU) in Tulsa, Oklahoma and for a period of time, before his conversion to the Orthodox Church he taught Old Testament at ORU. He later attended St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary in Crestwood, New York where he earned an M.Th degree. Later ordained a Deacon and Priest in the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America, he served as pastor of St. John's Antiochian Orthodox Church in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. Later he served at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan before he was elected Bishop by the Holy Synod of the Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch.
