==Life==
Born Bp. Mark was born in JeffersonvilleNew Albany, Indianaon [[June 22]], in the 1950s 1958 and [[baptism|baptized ]] in the [[Roman Catholic Church]], . After graduation from high school in 1976 he later became a Pentecostal Christian, attending an Assembly of God church in Louisville, Kentucky. He attended Indiana University South East before transferring to Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahomafrom which he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1985. In 1987, and for he received a Master of Arts degree in Biblical Literature from Oral Roberts University where he accepted a period position as Adjunct Professor of time before Old Testament. Introduced to Orthodox Christianity by Fr. George Eber and his [[conversion]] to professors of Church History, Bp. Mark was received into the Orthodox Church taught through Holy [[Old TestamentChrismation]] therein 1989. He later then attended [[St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary (Crestwood, New York)|St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary]] in Crestwood, New York, where in 1991 he earned a M.Th. Master of Theology degree.

Antoun on [[August 17]], 1997 and a [[priest]] on [[September 7]], 1997 in the Antiochian Archdiocese, he . He served as pastor of St. John's Antiochian Orthodox Church in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. Later he served and then at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan, before he was elected [[bishop]] by the local synod of the Antiochian Archdiocese and consecrated in Damascus in December of 2004.

On [[December 5]], 2004, he was enthroned [[consecration of a bishop|consecrated]] at the Patriarchal Cathedral in his Damascus, Syria by Patr. Ignatius IV and other bishops. He was then [[cathedralenthronement|enthroned]], diocesan bishop of the Diocese of Toledo and the Midwest at St. George Cathedral in Toledo, Ohio, on [[August 25]], 2005. In October 2010, Bp. Mark was released from the Antiochian Archdiocese to the Orthodox Church in America and ceased his duties as Bishop of Toledo.
