Our Father among saints Joanikije II of Pec(Also Joanicius. In Serbian: Свети Јонакије патријарх српски) was first Serbian Patriarch. His Feast is September 3/16.

Archbishop

He was elected Archbishop of Peć, between December 19, 1337 and January 3, 1338. Before he was elected he was logothetos, royal chancellor. He was following in steps of his great predecessors. He was raised to Patriarch and Archbishop of Peć on Palm Sunday, April 6, 1346. This was in order for Joanikije to coronate King Stefan Uroš IV as Dušan Car (Emperor). This elevation was done with approval Trnovo, Patriarchate and Archbishop of Ohrid. The coronation took a place on Pascha 1346.

Patr. Joanikije began a tradition of building churches and monasteries. He built. among others, two churches in Holy Land: the Church of Saint Elias on Carmel and the Church of Saint Nicholas on Mount Tabor

Saint Joanikije died September 3, 1354. He was buried in Peć Monastery.
