Born on August 13, 1914 in the Dutch family<ref>http://zarubezhje.narod.ru/suppl/sp_066.htm</ref>, August 14, baptised in the [[Catholic Church]]<ref name="ortho-rus">http://www.ortho-rus.ru/cgi-bin/ps_file.cgi?2_2076</ref>. [3]Was He was a novice in the Benedictine katolicheskom monastyre catholic monastery in Belgium.
After meeting with the hieromonk [[Dionysius (Lukin) of Rotterdam|Dionysius (Lukin)]] has decided to adopt Orthodoxy. Accepted May 10, 1940 through the anointing. Along with him came to Orthodoxy his friend, monk Adrian Korporaal.
June 12, 1979 was elevated to the rank of [[Archbishop]].
February 16, 1984 was awarded Order of St. Prince Vladimir Second Class<ref name="ortho-rus"/>.
December 30, 1988 he was retired.
Died July 26, 1991.
