Blessed Elder Saint '''Ieronymos (Apostolides) of Aegina''' was born Vasilios Basil Apostolides in 1883 Karvali (in the village of Galyveriancient times, Karbala), Cappadocia, in Asia Minor. His pious parentsor Güzelyurt (Gelveri, Kelveri), Anastasios and ElizabethTurkey, had six childrenin 1883.
