Rublev Trinity.jpg

The Hospitality of Abraham (also called Trinity) is a Russian icon by Andrei Rublev that shows the three angels that appeared to Abraham at Mamre. Though the three angels are not the three persons of the Trinity, the three angels represent the Trinity. The angel in the middle represents Christ, the Son of God with the chalice used in the Eucharist.
