Holy Trinity church in Pyongyang is an single orthodox church in North Korea. Permission of construction of the Orthodox church in North korea was given personally by President of DPRK Kim Jong-Il afer his visit of St. Innocent of Irkutsk church in Khabarovsk in course of the trip to Russia in 2002. Construction activity of the church was begun in 2003 year. The foundation stone laying ceremony was held by DECR Deputy Chairman archbishop Clement of Kaluga on June 24 and works were begun. The church was consecrated in 2006 by metr. Cyrill of Smolensk and Kaliningrad. During the consecration of the church was ordinated a first northkorean priest[1]

Now in the church two priests serve - Theodor Kim and John Ra, both citizens of NK[2] The temple is found at Chonbek district, tel./fax: (850) 238 14 650. Services are held every Saturday and Sunday.
