A ''' ''Disputatio cum Herbano Judaeo'' ''', which [[w:Karl Krumbacher|Krumbacher]] assigns to the time of Justinian, is attributed to Gregentius, Bishop of Taphar in Himyaritic Arabia. When Herban asserts that Solomon controlled all demons, the Bishop replies:<br>

The use of the article with ''αγγειοις'' marks the detail as well known, and the sentence evidently summarizes the story told in the modern Greek manuscript.<ref>Robert P.
