Spiritual Knowledge γνώσις is the knowledge of the nous or intellect as knowledge of the divine which is distinct from the knowledge of reason (dianoia). Gnosis is as such knowledge that which is inspired by and or given by God and is thus linked to contemplation or theoria and immediate spiritual perception (revelation).
