The Anglican church of ''Merthyr Dyfan Berry'' <ref>The parish of Merthyr Dyfan Barry, South Wales originates from AD. 180. The present church was built in the early thirteenth century by the Normans and now belongs to the Anglican church.</ref> in Wales, shows the popular tradition that he ended his days by martyrdom.
