Diocese of Mozambique

Mozambique constitutes a diocese within the Patriarchate of Alexandria. The diocese was established in 2006. Prior to this, Mozambique had constituted part of the Metropolis of Zimbabwe. The bishop of Mozambique is His Grace Theodoros (Dimitriou).

There are two parishes at present in Mozambique:

  • Archangels Gabriel & Michael, Maputo. Father George Zolotenco is the pastor.
  • Holy Trinity, Beira
