Life
In 2000, he was received into the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the USA, and completed his theological program at [[St. Sophia Ukrainian Orthodox Theological Seminary (South Bound Brook, New Jersey)|St. Sophia Ukrainian Orthodox Theological Seminary in South Bound Brook, New Jersey]]. He received his masters in Applied Orthodox Theology from the University of Balamand in 2002.
In 2001, then-deacon Volodymyr was elevated to the holy priesthood, and in the following year he was ordained tonsured a Hieromonk and was given the name Daniel. In 2007, he was elevated to the rank of Archimandrite, and shortly thereafter the Sobor of the UOC of the USA made him "bishop-elect".
Bishop Daniel was formally elected as titular Bishop of Pamphilon on [[January 9]], 2008. He was consecrated a bishop on [[May 10]], 2008 at [[St. Volodymyr Cathedral (Parma, Ohio)|St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral in Parma, Ohio]].
