Any Orhodox Christian worshipper should confess frequently for a number of reasons. First and foremost, (in the Oriental Church) taking communion without confession is a sin. Second of all, not confessing for a long while brings down the ability of any person to be able to strongly take part in all their spiritual duties, whether within the community or alone.
