Category:Churches is a subset of Category:Places! It appears links are being made to the subcategories based on the ethnicity of the churches and not on their location. Church location titles
My original assumption was that the place (country) names of Subcategories of the Category:Churches referred to geographical places and not to ethnicity/jurisdiction. Category:Churches is a subset of Category:Places! It appears links are being made to the subcategories based on the ethnicity of the churches and not on their location. This is encouraged by form used for the subcategory titles, i.e., 'Russian Churches', 'Greek Churches', etc. instead of 'Churches in Turkey', 'Churches in Greece', 'Churches in USA', etc. I suggest re-titling the subcategories to the form 'Churches in xxxxx'.
