The Holy Diocese of Burundi and Rwanda is a diocese under the jurisdiction of the Alexandrian Orthodox Church. Its territory includes the parishes and missions located in the countries of Burundi and Rwanda and a large area of the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The Diocese of Burundi and Rwanda was established by a Patriarchal and Synodal decree on October 6, 2009.
