The holy, glorious, all-laudable '''Apostle Ananias''' is numbered among the [[Apostles#The_Seventy|Seventy Apostles]]. He was [[bishop]] in Damascus and [[baptism|baptized]] the [[Apostle Paul]]. Becuase Because of his fearless [[preaching ]] he was stoned to death in the city of Eleutheropolis. His [[relics ]] were returned to Damascus, then later translated to Constantinople.
