Baptized Anton Vakulsky and given the name Amphilokhy when he was tonsured a monk, Amphiloky was a missionary among the Chukchi people in Siberia during the years 1909-1910. After arriving in North America, he continued serving, from 1910 to 1915, the parishes of emigrant Orthodox Christians in Alberta, Canada.
Abp. Amphilokhy reposed in 1933 at St. Tikhon's Monastery in South Canaan, Pennsylvania.
