== Life ==The Alexander Gorachek, the future bishop , was born in Germany on [[September 29]], 1995. Nationality - czech1955. He completed his schooling in Franfurt-am-Main and then studied at the department of architecture in Darmstadt. In 1979 he entered the brotherhood of St Job of Pochaev in MunchenMunich. He was [[tonsuredtonsure]] d a [[monk ]] on [[March 29]], 1983. On [[December 25]], 1983 he was [[ordination|ordained ]] [[hierodeacon]] and on [[April 8]], 1991 [[hieromonk]]. In 1995 he was elevated to the rank of [[abbothegumen]].
In October 2000, the Synod of Bishops approved the consecration of Abbot Hegumen Agapit to the episcopate. The [[consecration of a bishop|consecration]] took place on [[April 3130]], 2001 at the Holy New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia [[cathedralCathedral]] in Munchen, Germany. Besides his duties as [[vicar ]] of the German diocese, Bishop Agapit served as vicar to Bishop Ambrose for as the administrator for ROCOR parishes in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg until 2006.
