Abouna (also spelled abuna or aboona) is an Arabic word literally meaning "our father." It is distinguished from the Abbana which begins the Lord's Prayer, which has the same literal meaning but is used to refer only to God. Abouna is a term used to address priests.

Abouna is also the title for the patriarch of the Oriental Orthodox Church of Ethiopia. The first abouna of the Ethiopian church was St. Frumentius of Axum.
