Style Manual mirrors? Deanery
I must confess Were you aware that your source (La Crosse) is Roman Catholic? I don't understand why you've created mirrors of sections of the style manual. The reason that OrthodoxWiki:Style Manual is protected (not publicly editable) is because know whether it's essentially makes any difference in the work and purview definition of the administrationa deanery, but I thought I should point it out anyway. I'm concerned that these editable mirrors 07:41, besides creating dfficulties keeping all relevant mirrors updatedJanuary 19, may potentially engender some confusion regarding what the official standards are.2006 (CST)
If there's something you'd like added in :Yes I was. I am certainly not against Catholic, Protestant, or changedanything for that matter, you can certainly address when it on Talk:Style Manualcoincides with truth. I was not able to find a reasonable online source from an Orthodox perspective and thought that these words were appropriate for Orthodox deaneries as well. —Joe 07:55, 28 Jun 2005 (EDT)20060119
: I realized I was risking offending or causing concern. I sincerely apologize. My response is to the fact that the Style Manual is really long and could probably benefit from being modularized. I, for one, get lost in a long sea of text. Having the Style Manual broken up, as a series would prevent from having to scroll up and down as much.= Pic ==
: Wikipedia uses a somewhat similar approach for their Manual of Style by creating supplementary pages Nice to their [httpsee you Joe!
: Using the term "mirror," in retrospect, may not have been the best idea. The whole purpose of creating the "mirror" was to hopefully provide a new home for aspects of the Style Manual that could be placed in their own module. AgainAnd you know, somehow I apologize. I certainly believe in uniformity and consisentcy. It is not my intention to thwart the purposes of the sysops or thought you were older than you appear to be a renegade editor.--Joe Rodgers 12ASDamick/sig}} 16:4639, January 19, 28 Jun 2005 2006 (EDTCST)
== Menologion ==Joe, this is Aleks. I dongot you message recently. Can you elaborate in an e-mail on what exactly you't see a problem with breaking re interested in making? I think it up into modular sections. In the futurewould be great to have Menologion and OW work together, though, please propose such a significant change before taking the initiative. Something like this really needs but I want to have figure out the administration on boardlogistics first. — 12:56, 28 Jun 2005 (EDT)
