Hello [[User:Magda|Magda]]! The characterization of the week after the Publican and Pharisee as "the first week of the Triodion" is certainly correct and commonly heard. In your comments on my user talk page, I think (a) and (b) are spot on. I've never heard the pre-Lenten weeks of preparation referred to as the "Triodion". I've only ever heard them referred to as the pre-Lenten weeks of preparation or, in short-hand, pre-Lent.[[User:Dcndavid|DcnDavid]] 09:29, 23 Feb 2005 (CST)
