Due to jurisdictional tensions, SCCOCA is presently an organisation that exists more on paper than in physical meetings or liturgic concelebrations.
According to the Apart from a letter sent out by Greek Orthodox Bishop Seraphim in April 2000, there have been no activities by or on behalf of SCCOCA since early 1999. The Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese, considers SCCOCA became defunct in 2000.
