Welcome to OrthodoxWiki!

Hello, Alstradiaan, and welcome to OrthodoxWiki!

Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Please note that OrthodoxWiki is always in development, so not everything works quite right yet. You can help, though!

OrthodoxWiki is a community-edited encyclopedia of Orthodox Christianity. Articles are created and edited by our members, and so everything that we do here is subject to review and revision. The result is a true consensus product, with every interested editor contributing his own knowledge and writing skills. As such, when you feel that criticism of an article is warranted, we encourage you to join in and fix it! Don't worry about breaking anything or doing something wrong—the other editors here are happy to jump in and help you learn.

OrthodoxWiki en español

Hello! I noticed that you left a note on the Talk page of Theofilactos regarding starting an OrthodoxWiki in Spanish. If you're interested, you may want to leave a note for FrJohn on his talk page. He's our administrator and can set up the Spanish OrthodoxWiki for you. —Fr. Andrew talk contribs 12:49, February 2, 2007 (PST)

Hi Alstradiaan, Sorry for my delay in responding to your note. I would be very happy to see an OrthodoxWiki in español, and would be happy to do the technical work to make this happen. Have you seen our Localization guidelines? Basically, this article covers some of the legal and stuctural background to how we see localizations working. If you can agree to this, and can translate or find someone to translate the core documents I mentioned, we can go ahead with things. Thanks! — FrJohn (talk)
Hola Alstadiaan and Theofilactos, Are you both still interested in working on a Spanish-language version of OrthodoxWiki? I would love to see this happen soon, it would just require a little effort to set things up properly and to moderate the site. Let me know if you're still interested. Thanks, — FrJohn (talk) 10:39, March 27, 2007 (PDT)
