In ==Timeline==*1948: Born in Athens, Greece.*1972 he graduated from the Theological School and : Awarded Bachelor of Arts in 1976 Theology from the School of Philosophy of the University of Athens. He received he Ph.D. from the University of Manchester.He was ordained as Deacon and Priest *1972: [[ordination|Ordained]] to [[diaconate]] on [[September 9]], 1972, in Athens*1972: Ordained to [[priest]]hood on [[September 17]], 1972, in London. In 2000 he was elected as Bishop of Nazianzos. From 1972 until 1979 he served Served as Priest in charge [[rector]] and Headmaster headmaster of the Greek Schools schools of the Orthodox Communities communities of Cambridge, Manchester and St Nicholas, Londonuntil 1979. From *1976: Awarded Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Athens.*1979: Awarded Doctor of Philosophy from the same year until University of Manchester.*1979-2000 he served : Served at the [[Cathedral ]] of St . Paraskevi of the [[Archdiocese ]] of Athens.
