His Eminence Archbishop '''Serge (Konovaloff) of Evkarpia''' was an [[auxiliary bishop]] of the [[Ecumenical Patriarchate]]'s [[Russian Orthodox Exarchate in Western Europe]].
Abp. Serge was born on July 8, 1941, in Louvain (, Belgium). He studied Germanic languages at the University of Louvain. He was married fathered three children, and was ordained a deacon in 1968 by Abp. [[Georges (Tarassoff) of Syracuse]] in Brussels and was elevated to the rank of [[protodeacon]] in 1976. He was ordained to the [[priest]]hood in 1980 by Bp. [[Georges (Wagner) of Evdokia]] and was elevated to [[archpriest]] in 1985.
After the death of his wife, he was [[tonsure]]d a [[monk]] in 1990. On [[June 8]] of that year, he was elected to be the successor of the late Abp. [[Georges (Wagner) of Evdokia]], receiving the title of ''Archbishop of Evkarpia''. He was [[consecration|consecrated]] [[bishop]] in Paris on [[June 27]], 1993. He died in Paris on [[January 22]], 2003.
