St. Wilfrid, Bishop of York
Saint Wilfrid (c. 634 - April 24, 709; also called Wilfrith and Wilfred) was a bishop who lived in the seventh century. He is well-known for his scuffles with St. Theodore of Tarsus and for his sharing of the See of York with St. Chad of Mercia.
