Welcome to OrthodoxWiki!

Hello, Volodymir, and welcome to OrthodoxWiki!

Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Please note that OrthodoxWiki is always in development, so not everything works quite right yet. You can help, though!

OrthodoxWiki is a community-edited encyclopedia of Orthodox Christianity. Articles are created and edited by our members, and so everything that we do here is subject to review and revision. The result is a true consensus product, with every interested editor contributing his own knowledge and writing skills. As such, when you feel that criticism of an article is warranted, we encourage you to join in and fix it! Don't worry about breaking anything or doing something wrong—the other editors here are happy to jump in and help you learn.

If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Questions page, or ask me on my Talk page.

We hope you enjoy editing here and being a part of our community!

Copyrighted material

Please make sure you submit your own material, or material which you have permission to use, as stated in the information beneath the edit box for each article. —magda (talk) 13:39, October 3, 2007 (PDT)

Please stop adding new articles without some clear sign that the material you're submitting is permitted to be used. Additionally, material submitted must adhere to the Style Manual, including the Mainstream Chalcedonian Bias (MCB).
If you don't wish to adhere to these policies, these new articles will continue to be deleted. If you continue without even addressing these concerns, then you may be subject to a temporary or permanent block from editing OrthodoxWiki.
Thanks for your cooperation. —Fr. Andrew talk contribs 07:11, October 5, 2007 (PDT)
This account has been blocked from editing for one week for the above stated reasons. If after that time, you feel you can return and work together in communication with the admins and other editors to produce and edit articles consistent with the Style Manual, we welcome your contributions. Thank you! —Fr. Andrew talk contribs 05:51, October 6, 2007 (PDT)
Dear Volodymir, as you can see, your one week block has expired, but you've taken to creating articles again which do not conform to the Style Manual, particularly according to the viewpoint of the MCB (Mainstream Chalcedonian Bias). Before you create any more such articles, please engage in discussion somewhere on this site regarding this approach so that, as noted above, these concerns may be addressed. If you do not show a willingness to do so, this account will be blocked permanently from editing. —Fr. Andrew talk contribs 11:42, October 19, 2007 (PDT)

Please do not create "forks"

You have create an article Vladimir of Classis and St. Julius Island by copying of article Vladimir of St. Julius Island. As the result there were 2 similar articles about one rerson. Don't do such things. You may use #REDIRECT [[]] for redirection. ~ Чръный человек 23:40, September 18, 2013 (HST)

Surname in article Vladimir of Classis and St. Julius Island

You added secular name "Maurice Roman", but let me ask. "Roman" is a surnname or given name? I ask abour surname to rename article according to rules: "Vladimir (surname) of Classis and St. Julius Island". ~ Чръный человек 06:27, September 21, 2013 (HST)

Block (October 2013)

I have blocked your account due to your repeated failure to adhere to the MCB that OrthodoxWiki operates under, on the articles of Holy Synod of Milan and Vladimir (Roman) of Classis and St. Julius Island. Because this is the second time, I have blocked your account for two weeks.

OrthodoxWiki has particular rules in the way that it operates. You need to consult the Style Manual, particularly regarding the Mainstream Chalcedonian Bias, before making any edits in the future. — by Pιsτévο talk complaints at 01:14, October 29, 2013 (HST)
