Welcome to OrthodoxWiki!

Hello, Petermav, and welcome to OrthodoxWiki!

Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Please note that OrthodoxWiki is always in development, so not everything works quite right yet. You can help, though!

OrthodoxWiki is a community-edited encyclopedia of Orthodox Christianity. Articles are created and edited by our members, and so everything that we do here is subject to review and revision. The result is a true consensus product, with every interested editor contributing his own knowledge and writing skills. As such, when you feel that criticism of an article is warranted, we encourage you to join in and fix it! Don't worry about breaking anything or doing something wrong—the other editors here are happy to jump in and help you learn.

Orthodoxy in Australasia

Peter, welcome to OrthodoxWiki! Perhaps you would be able to help in the series on Orthodoxy in Australasia, which is generally lacking in terribly much detail in Greek Orthodox Archdiocese-related articles? I've done my best, but what little Greek I know is mainly confined to liturgics... — edited by Pιsτévο talk complaints at 02:20, December 22, 2006 (PST)

Greek language OrthodoxWiki?

I notice that you speak Greek natively—would you be interested in beginning an OrthodoxWiki in Greek? It seems to me that this is much-needed!

If so, you can drop a note at Fr. John's talk page. —Fr. Andrew talk contribs 20:06, April 4, 2007 (PDT)

Crescens of Myra

Thanks for the heads up. When I make articles about the saints, I usually go to the Style Manual and the Saint commemorations pages. I also check at least the goarch, oca, and Prologue websites to see whether I can get any external links from those. When in doubt, I try to find a similar article and click on "edit" to see how something was done, like listing categories. —magda (talk) 21:35, April 16, 2008 (UTC)

Bp Siluan - Serbian Orthodox Metropolitanate of A&NZ

Dear Fr Peter - He is and shall be! I think I was able to touch up relevant articles - let me know if there was anything needing further change. Καλά Χριστούγεννα! — by Pιsτévο talk complaints at 11:14, December 6, 2016 (UTC)
