Names of Bishops in the Church

Hi Magda, I really appreciate what you do ...you do a lot of awesome editing but I really have to disagree with 1 change you are making to the 'Metropolis of XXX' articles that I have created over the past few days. This issue I have is over-riding the link I set up for the Bishops. I have noticed that you include the Metropolis area as a title to their name Eg. His Emincence John (Black) of Area A and B. I dont agree with including the 'of Area A and B' part because that title could change with time. They may become a Metropolitan to another area perhaps and then the title would no longer be relevant. I think it suffices to just use their name with Surname in the brackets ..leaving the title out of it? What do you think? Is their something I dont know that I should know for the reason to include the title? -- Vasiliki 14:00, February 21, 2008 (PST)

Help needed

Hello Magda, I would like to bring to your attention problem with the article John (Zizioulas) of Pergamon where one of the users keep removing valid academic source to the criticism of the J.Z., not providing any valid academic reason for removal, but rather expressing his own opinion on the matter. Since I know that user from Wikipedia and have experienced his disgraceful behavior there, I am asking for help before situation ends up in the formal request for mediation (just as happened there). Thank you.

Holy Sepulchre

Hmm, you're right about the spelling of Sepulchre. That was bothering me throughout, but I didn't want to change the title of the article. Do you think it should be Americanized?

As for what I did changed, there were a number of verbs in the history section of the article in the present tense (that were about past events). So that's what I meant by present to past tense in history. I stopped after the history section (except for changing annointed to anointed in the next paragraph), so that's why you don't see changes throughout. Oh, and I also messed with what I thought was awkward wording once or twice. Please change anything you think needs undoing.

Thanks for the kind words about my editing. I really need to start getting back on more. Honestly, I just don't have the free time that I did in college. Plus, my job requires me to sit in front of a computer 8 hours a day, so when I get home I sometimes just want to get away from these machines! Gabriela 19:01, March 22, 2008 (PDT)

French links

Thanks for filling in all the French links, Magda! — FrJohn (talk) 06:38, April 10, 2008 (UTC)

I also wanted to give credit to Magda on the External Links; I have noticed her over last fortnight adding and adding links and its a very difficult task and I have to say she is doing a really timely and thorough job! Vasiliki 23:34, April 16, 2008 (UTC)

Ekatontapyliani versus Ekatontapiliani

Hi, ur question on Anastasios Orlandos got me thinking ... can u do a hit on the word Ekatontapyliani versus Ekatontapiliani to see which is hit more frequently or if you cant be bother how can I do that sort of a check? Vasiliki 04:49, April 17, 2008 (UTC)

New England Diocese

Thanks, Magda, for catching the century 'date'. Also, you came up with the date for Abp Dmitiri that I've been trying to find for some time. Now the dates in his article need correcting!! Wsk 23:17, April 30, 2008 (UTC)

I can't seem to restore that article, either. I'm gonna axe it, since it doesn't really belong here, anyhow. —Fr. Andrew talk contribs (THINK!) 00:19, June 12, 2008 (UTC)

OrthodoxSource

Hi, I was hoping to recruit you into OrthodoxSource - are you interested in coming in and discussing over there? -- Vasiliki

Hi, thanks for referring Template:OSource, can you explain for me .... should I be using this template to mark articles in OW that should be migrated into OSource? Vasiliki 23:05, June 23, 2008 (UTC)

External links ---

Hi, I have modified three articles (on purpose) on a temporary basis, only so that I can demonstrate an idea ... I wanted to point out that I will revert the articles back once I have had a response I suppose from at least your or one of the Fathers or some of the other admins as to what you think ... the three "pilot" articles are:

Athanasius of Alexandria
Alexander Schmemann
John of Damascus

I am definately keen to get a discussion going linking Owiki and Osource ... I am having a lot of fun doing the programming in Osource but I dont want to move forward until some people start putting in some feedback. Vasiliki 00:39, June 24, 2008 (UTC)

St. Donald

Hello, Matushka - thank you for the extra links, concerning St. Donald of Ogilvy and his holy Nine Maidens! Seeing as how you have found much about the Nine Maidens, I feel it is only proper to do an article about them, now that you have pointed me in the right direction. Thank you again!

You're right. I've reverted. —Fr. Andrew talk contribs (THINK!) 16:59, July 1, 2008 (UTC)
