Naming bishop articles

Hello. I noticed you've recently created several articles dedicated to hierarchs. In the future, please try to name them according to the appropriate section of the official Style Manual, which stipulates, among other things, that titles should be left out of the article names for bishops. Thanks! —Dcn. Andrew talk random contribs 18:41, July 14, 2006 (CDT)

Image copyright?

Hi AKCGY,

Do you have any information on the copyright or source for Image:StVolodymyr.jpg? (I renamed it so that the strange characters in the old filename don't cause any problems later on.) Thanks! — FrJohn (talk)

I had found the picture on Wikipedia ([1])...thanks for the name change!--AKCGY 23:14, August 14, 2006 (CDT)

Your deleted image(s)

Hello! One or more images which you uploaded has been deleted in according with OrthodoxWiki policy, most likely because you did not provide an appropriate tag for it.

If you feel that this deletion was in error, you may upload the image again, giving it the appropriate tag indicating that the image is legal for OrthodoxWiki to use.

To check which images may have been deleted, take a look at your upload log and look for red links.

Thank you for your contributions! —Fr. Andrew talk contribs 11:47, March 16, 2007 (PDT)

Please do not do such things

[2][3]. Editing history should not be lost. You should rename the page but not to wrap the text from one page to another.

However, there is a question, not related only to this page, it should be discussed. I am sure that the monastic names should be translated and secular - transliterated. Since I believe that Basil (Fedak) was a monk, I translated his name. You wrote (in en-wiki): "Metropolitan Wasyly (Fedak) was never known in any capacity under the name "Basil." He was always officially titled "Wasyly" in English.". It is not so. If you search in google information on request "Basil (Fedak)", you will see the opposite. ~ Чръный человек 06:02, February 10, 2013 (HST)

I'm sorry for not renaming the article correctly. Nevertheless, my statement is true that he was never referred to as "Basil". In Google, the only two links that were in reference to "Basil (Fedak)" were two articles that you changed the names to (from "Wasyly (Fedak)). There are more external links in Google under "Wasyly (Fedak) [4]. --AKCGY 06:19, February 10, 2013 (HST)
I temporarily moved the text to the page Basil (Fedak) of Winnipeg. You should to administrator and submit a request for deletion the page "Wasyly (Fedak) of Winnipeg" to rename page "Basil (Fedak) of Winnipeg". ~ Чръный человек 06:52, February 10, 2013 (HST)
And after all I do not reject my position on the need to translate monastic names. ~ Чръный человек 06:57, February 10, 2013 (HST)
I do not have a problem with translating monastic or bishop's names into their English equivelents, but Metropolitan Wasyly (Fedak) of Winnipeg was OFFICIALLY known as "WASYLY" in English, NOT "Basil". Please look at this article on the UOCC webpage (in English) [5]. --AKCGY 07:15, February 10, 2013 (HST)
