I am an Orthodox residing in Australia, hence my interest in the Church in Australia and its near neighbours. Noticing the lack of information about Orthodoxy in Australia on OrthodoxWiki, I decided that the situation wasn't going to improve without personally doing something about it. Now, my interests have expanded to include writing up important biographies, particularly of ascetics and missionaries.

On 14/July/05, I was made a sysop of OrthodoxWiki; while being sysop of OrthodoxWiki (and doing all the associated duties), special attention has been given to my pet topic of Orthodoxy in Australasia. I have put together a brief listing of my OrthodoxWiki philosophy. At one point, I was in charge of selecting feature articles, but was not able to continue this, due to real life getting in the way.

I have had three articles that I began, and/or largely wrote, made into feature articles: Orthodoxy in Australasia (15 July 2005, since split into Orthodoxy in Australia and Orthodoxy in New Zealand due to excess size), St Irene Chrysovalantou (28 April 2006) and Elder Joseph the Hesychast (4 November 2006). A list of my contributions can be found here. I have made over 4000 edits on OrthodoxWiki.

Caveat: If I err, I do so unintentionally. Please try to look on my errors with forgiveness and gentle reproof before bringing in the insults and/or prejudice.

I hereby reissue all of my edits before November 22, 2005, under both the GNU Free Documentation License as well as the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license (version 2.5 or later), unless explicitly noted otherwise, in conformity with the revised OrthodoxWiki default copyright policy.
