i am Orthodox residing in australia, hence my interest in the Church in australia and its near neighbours.  noticing the lack of information about Orthodoxy in australia on Orthodoxwiki, i decided that the situation wasn't going to improve without personally doing something about it.

On 14/July/05, I was made a sysop of OrthodoxWiki; while being sysop of OrthodoxWiki (and doing all the associated duties), special attention has been given to my pet topic of [[Orthodoxy in Australasia]].  I have put together a brief listing of [[User:Pistevo/meta|my OrthodoxWiki philosophy]] - though it may be out of date, I haven't looked at it in quite some time.  A list of my contributions to OrthodoxWiki can be found [[Special:Contributions/Pistevo|here]].  I have made ''over 4000 [[User:ASDamick/counter.js|edits]]'' on OrthodoxWiki.

I'm Fr Andrew Smith, a priest at Holy Annunciation Orthodox Church, Brisbane, Australia.

My main interests in OrthodoxWiki are in the Church in Australia and its near neighbours and writing up important biographies, particularly of ascetics and missionaries.
