I am a Russian teacher who has lived in London for 20 years. Together with family and friends we make videos [http://www.youtube.com/user/LearnRussianLanguage YouTube.com/user/LearnRussianLanguage] to help students learn Russian. I have made arrangements with native English speakers to make free English teaching videos which will be available on YouTube, etc.

I started making my first site in January 2010 [http://www.learnrussianspeakrussian.org/ LearnRussianSpeakRussian.org]. However I realised that I need other teachers to help me and therefore I am trying to make other sites, where teachers will be able to post their lessons as well.

I also want to make a wiki site [http://wikitranslate.org/index.php?title=Main_Page wikiTranslate.org] to enable language students to make translations of folk songs, fairy-tales, cartoons and prayers, etc. of a [[Target_language|target language]] to their native language and other way around. I will encourage students to make subtiltes for the cartoons, songs, films, etc. as well. I hope that in the process of this work the users of this wiki will make friends and start having conversations not only on the wiki site, but on skype, etc.
