I was born in New York in November 1936. I had 2 brothers and a sister {who died in 1987}. My mother, Rita, died in 1944 at the age of 31. My father send us each to a different place to live. I lived with my godmother and her family for four years and then lived with a different aunt for a year, she sent me to the Angel Guardian home and they placed me in a foster home where my one brother lived. I stayed there for four years and then went to live with my father and step-mother. That did not work to well since my step-mother did not like me. I moved in with my fiancée's family until we were married about a year later. we had 8 children died in together. He died in 1984 from cancer. After death his death I moved to East Stroudsburg Pennsylvania with my four youngest children. In 1991 I met my present husband, Carl C Hoedel. We married in April 1992 in a civil ceremony. We then joined the Orthodox church in 1996. . Carl is an ordained Deacon in the RC Church. He tried to obtain a dispensation but the Bishop sat on his request for 4 years so we gave up and approached Father Neal Carrigan, the pastor of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Stroudsburg, PA at the time. He chrismated us in July 1996 and we married in the church in October 1996. I have been a faithful Orthodox since then
