Met. Vladimir's See

I do not think this article is correct. I have never seen evidence that he was "Metropolitan of San Francisco and the West". Archbishop John (Shahovskoy) retained the title "Archbishop of San Francisco and the Western United States" and Met. Vladimir had the title "Archbishop of Berkeley" much like the current Bishop Benjamin of Berkeley.

The Orthodox Research Institute lists Metr. Vladimir as "His Eminence Vladimir / Metropolitan of San Francisco and the West."
From the Orthodox Research Institute, also from the Google cache of the OCA page: "In March of 1972 he received a canonical release from the Moscow Patriarchate and returned to the United States as assistant to Archbishop JOHN of San Francisco. He became ruling bishop of the Diocese of San Francisco and Western United States in 1974 upon the retirement of Archbishop JOHN. After serving briefly in this capacity, Metropolitan VLADIMIR, in July of 1975, was granted a leave of absence due to poor health."
Bishops of/in Canada from the OCA Archdiocese of Canada site: "† Metropolitan VLADIMIR,2 August 1997 [South Canaan, Pa, USA / Formerly Metropolitan of Japah [sic], and Archbishop of San Francisco, served in Winnipeg in retirement."
It's difficult to find something stating definitively that Metr. Vladimir wasn't "Metropolitan of San Francisco and the West," but it does appear that Abp. John was called back from retirement in 1975, and re-retired in 1979.
