Moldova

It may be beneficial to clarify precisely where Fr Victor Didenco was from - the Church of Romania (see article) has a metropolis that encompasses Moldova, the Metropolis of Bessarabia, but the way it's phrased sounds like an autonomous/autocephalous church. I didn't want to change it, just in case I was wrong. --— by Pιsτévο talk complaints at 05:45, May 11, 2006 (CDT)

Moldovan Orthodox Church is an autonomous church under Moscow. It accounts for about 90% of the Orthodox population in Moldova. The Romanian version about the Metropolitanate of Bessarabia was exceedingly biased.

Perhaps the new, admittedly highly deficient, article on the Moldovan Orthodox Church could be listed on the Jurisdictions index.

Thanks

First churches

One thing this timeline lacks is information on when early churches (aside from the Antiochian ones) were set up. Don't know how it can be rectified, as I haven't found any information online. --— by Pιsτévο talk complaints at 01:04, May 13, 2006 (CDT)

Local Events

The attitude of the majority of Orthodox clergy in New Zealand is that the four waves of immigration to New Zealand more accurately reflected the local events in New Zealand than the broken divisions currently employed for headings in the Timeline. chrisg 2006-05-16:2352 EAST

The reason that I changed the headings from "first wave" to the current is that the immigration lasts for 10 years, at most, but it is the effects of the immigration that can call it an 'era'. Even the wording I have is less than satisfactory, imho, so one should feel free to improve. --— by Pιsτévο talk complaints at 20:20, May 16, 2006 (CDT)
