Talk:Paschal greeting

Paschal already indicates that the greeting is related to Pascha. It seems to me it would make more sense (in terms of a good sentence structure) simply to link Paschal to the Pascha article. Or is there a wikipedia thing against that? --Basil 11:04, 19 Jan 2005 (CST)

I don't think there's a "thing" against it, but in terms of form, it doesn't quite seem right for the main "title phrase" (so to speak) of an article to link to another article. At least, it's not what I've seen elsewhere. (You know, wikipedic oral tradition.)  :) I'll futz with the sentence to make it prettier, though. --Rdr. Andrew 11:59, 19 Jan 2005 (CST)

Downloadable Greetings

Through the years, many churches have put together nicely formatted sets of greetings for use in the Paschal services. Maybe somebody could upload and post them here, or else we could link to some externally.

Nativity greeting

Is there a resource similar to this for Nativity greetings? --cholmes75 22:23, January 2, 2007 (PST)

Fixed the Sanskrit greeting. The verb root they want is utthaa, not upasthaa (which means "arrive" or "come near"). Fixed the sandhi, too. I also think it should be Khrista:, not Krista:, but I didn't change that. The greeting is wrong on every page on the internet that quotes this list or that this list is based on. --Gzthompson 04:19, April 25, 2008 (UTC)
