Sirmium is in Serbia not in Hungary. We alredy have article abot George from Sofia. It is George the New —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ddpbf (talkcontribs) .

At the time of the Hieromartyr Irenaeus of Sirmium (died in 304), Sirmium was part of the Roman Empire, the capital of the province of Pannonia Secunda. It later came to be occupied by various peoples, including Goths and Huns. The city was destroyed in 582. Neither Serbia nor Hungary existed as countries at the time of St. Irenaeus. So I've removed the reference to "in Hungary."
I also created a redirect from George of Sofia to George the New, though I've not found a reference to this saint's feast day being March 26, but only February 11, the date of his repose. —Fr. Andrew talk contribs 08:33, March 26, 2007 (PDT)
Yes i forgot to put other date. You can see in list of Bulgatian saints both dates.
Sorry, father i don mistake. This is other saint. Other feast of George the New is May 26 or June 8. Chek at [1]
Okay, I've removed the redirect from George of Sofia. —Fr. Andrew talk contribs 17:33, March 26, 2007 (PDT)
