: My guess is that the general intention is to include only iconographers from the 20th century and later.  This article was originally separated out from the [[Iconographers]] article to make a distinction between folks wanting to put up their own websites and those whose work has made them historically notable.  &mdash;[[User:ASDamick|<font size="3.5" color="green" face="Adobe Garamond Pro, Garamond, Georgia, Times New Roman">Fr. Trying to keep this page as clean as possible. Broke it off from another heavily garbled page. If the iconographer is notable enough that you he or she needs some info, I suggest creating a page for the person, in order to keep this page simply a directory. I'm expanding the directory. If you have a link and a name please add itFrogmanman 14:27, December 23, 2007 (PST)

"Modern"

Hiya, what defines "modern" when it comes to "iconography", is it possible to include within the body of the article a "rough" date ... is it modern iconographers dating from the turn of the 19th century? 18th? ... etc Vasiliki 22:55, June 11, 2008 (UTC)

My guess is that the general intention is to include only iconographers from the 20th century and later. This article was originally separated out from the Iconographers article to make a distinction between folks wanting to put up their own websites and those whose work has made them historically notable. —Fr.
