I amde a couple of changes. First, and correct me if I am wrong, I took out that he was a member of the synod in that only bishops are members of synods. I don't know what the practice of the Russian church is, but some churches do have non-episcopal members of their synods, e.g., the Church of Jerusalem, which includes some archimandrites. —Fr. Andrew talk contribs (THINK!) 09:14, February 2, 2006 (CST)
