Also, it's difficult to get "an answer" from this article if someone is looking for "What the Orthodox believe about the Immaculate Conception." It might be helpful to use a quotation from the Phil Thompson article: "[O]riginal sin in the Orthodox understanding is not a 'stain' but an absence.
