Title of Page is wrong

Hi, sorry you changed the title of this page and its wrong ...he is not OF Panormitis ... Panormitis is not a place. Could you please change it back ..thanks!! Vasiliki 17:09, January 21, 2008 (PST)

According to the description on the Symi Visitor Page you included in the External Sources section, it is described there as "Monastery of the Archangel Michael at Panormitis", suggesting its is a place name. If is is not, then their information is wrong. Either way, the syntax in English should be cleared up for better understanding; so the question becomes if it is not a place name, then what is it referring to/how is it understood/where did the title come from, etc. Thanks, Chris 20:53, January 21, 2008 (EST)
Hiya, could be a mis-translation from Greek into English ... I have visited this monastery and have a strong connection with locals from the island and can confirm from non-Intranet sources that it is a nickname not a location ... His nickname has coined the name for the location which is quite different from the icon of Mantamados, which earned its name because of the location it is at. Its like saying .. John the drunk as opposed to John from Australia. Vasiliki 18:02, January 21, 2008 (PST) PS. Feel free to edit for now ... I have dumped a whole heap of inforamtion ... will return later in the afternoon to add more.
Hello, if you do a search on the web you will find several references to the "village of Panormitis;" it is clear that the icon takes its name from the associated place, which is usually the pattern. Although I understand that the syntax in Greek is perfectly normal to refer to the Archangel as "O Panormitis," I believe it is better syntax in English grammar to have it the way it is now. My two cents. Cheers. Chris 21:15, January 21, 2008 (EST)
