Susanna means lily.
There are several saints named Susanna:
- The tale of Susanna is part of the Book of Daniel in the Old Testament in the Septuagint version, though is not included in the Masoretic Text.
- Susanna the Myrrh-Bearer was one of the myrrh-bearing women who brought spices to the tomb of Jesus.
- Susanna the Virgin was martyred in the third century under Emperor Macedonius.
