Skete of St. Panteleimon (Athos)
stub The Skete of St. Panteleimon, a dependency of the Monastery of Koutloumousiou, is located near Karyes on Mount Athos. It was founded in 1785 by the monk Charalampos. The skete consists of nineteen cells with twenty monks. Its library contains forty manuscripts and more than 500 books. The main temple of the skete contains 200 icons and relics of many saints.
