His Eminence Seraphim (Roris) of Karystia and Skyros is the Metropolitan of the Metropolis of Karystia and Skyros under the jurisdiction of the Church of Greece. He has been the ruling hierarch of the metropolis since 1968.

Life

Socrates Roris was born in 1929 in the village of Kosmas, Kynouria in Arcadia, Greece. After completing his theological studies in Athens, Socrates was ordained a deacon and given the name Seraphim in 1962. Dcn. Seraphim was later ordained a priest. Father Seraphim was elected to the episcopate in 1968 and consecrated the Metropolitan of Karystia and Skyros on November 24, 1968.
