His Grace Right Reverend Nestor (Sirotenko) of Kaffa, vicar bishop of the Diocese of Korsun, which serves the parishes of the Moscow Patriarchate in France, Spain, Switzerland, and Portugal.

Life

Born on September 4, 1974 in Moscow, Evgeny Yurievich Sirotenko began his higher education as a student at the Historical-Archival Institute of the Russian State University of the Humanities in 1991. He graduated in 1995. During the same period, he worked in the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations of the Russian Federation, as well served as an acolyte in the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Peredelkino, the site of the Patriarchal country residence. In 1995, he entered the Moscow Theological Seminary.

Choosing a monastic life, Evgeny was tonsured a monk on March 28, 1998 with name Nestor. On April 24, 1998, he entered the Holy Orders with his ordination as a hierodeacon. On November 29, 1999, he was ordained a hieromonk.
